About

My journey to helping you

I am passionate about what I do! Art has been in my life since I was a child and early on I learned how powerful it can be when it comes to releasing emotions and really trying to find that calm in your life. I’ve always loved helping people and being able to incorporate these two things has enabled me to grow not only as an artist, but also as an art therapist. When working with clients, I use the person centered approach, which allows them to take the lead so to speak. I will meet you where you are at and ensure that you are heard.

I became an art therapist for many reasons. There has never been a greater gift than witnessing a client have a moment of clarity. The simplest form of art making like drawing with a pencil can bring such a release to a person. I chose this field because I wanted people to learn as much as they can about themselves through creativity. The beauty part of our therapy is you don’t have to be an artist to participate!

I have been practicing since April 20 22 and I am credentialed with the art therapy credentials board (ATCB).

I have worked with clients of various ages and prefer working with women, young women, and adolescents. I have also worked with teens in the LGBTQ community.
